Lactate measurement
For decades, the most widely used method for determining training status has been lactate measurement under a defined load. For this purpose, a drop of blood is taken from the earlobe and analyzed in our laboratory. The lactate values are related to the heart rate and the power with a curve in order to achieve an improvement in basic endurance and maximum power.
Spiroergometry
Spiroergometry has gained importance for the extended recording of all organ functions involved in performance. For the indirect determination of relevant metabolic processes during performance measurement, the recording of oxygen uptake and CO2 release in the respiratory gases is indispensable.
Beyond the known threshold values, the basal metabolic rate and the performance ranges in which primarily fat metabolism or energy production from carbohydrates takes place can thus be measured.
If these values are recorded together with the lactate measurement, a good insight of the various training ranges can usually be obtained.

The team of the sports clinic comes to your location to perform performance diagnostics.
This performance diagnostic testing method is performed exclusively with larger groups using a standardized test. The blood samples are then analyzed in our laboratory and the lactate values are used for training planning.
